DCCSF was founded in 1983 by George Hayes and a group of community members.

Each year, DCCSF provides a variety of scholarships to those students in the Decatur County Community School district.

The DCCSF was founded in 1983 for one purpose, and that was to provide scholarships to students in the Decatur County Community School Corporation who were pursuing secondary education. The DCCSF has grown through the years, but our mission remains the same today.
